Watched this earlier. I thought it was pretty good; definitely better than I’d expected. They acting was decent to excellent depending on who we’re talking about. I loved the way this was shot, too. Sure, some of the CG was lacking - but all of the shots without it were great.

I’m definitely going to need to read these books now.

Oh wow. Jensen Ackles and SPF in the same movie? Win.

Watched this yesterday. Not a bad movie at all, and oh man Norman…

I can already tell that this isn’t going to hold a candle to the original, but it must have been a rush being a part of it. I can’t imagine growing up loving Psycho and being able to almost shot-by-shot remake it.

He’s coming to get you, Barbara!

I’ve seen this, but I’ll never get tired of it. I’m a fan of Star Trek on principle but have limited experience with the show[s]. I love the idea of alternate universes, especially as a way to keep fresh a story that’s been around since the dawn of time (or the 60’s). And I don’t think anyone could argue that this is some great casting!

I loved this one SO MUCH. I seriously hope that when the zombie apocalypse happens, we get zombies like these. Also, I hope Simon Pegg is around.

I have to make a list. This is just insanity.

britfost642:

  1. The Walking Dead
  2. The Big Bang Theory
  3. Buffy The Vampire Slayer
  4. LOST
  5. Fringe
  6. Supernatural
  7. Sherlock
  8. Glee
  9. How I Met Your Mother
  10. Grey’s Anatomy
  11. True Blood
  12. Dexter
  13. Being Human
  14. Doctor Who
  15. The X-Files
  16. Breaking Bad
  17. Futurama
  18. Law & Order: SVU

And  that’s just what I came up with based on my recent GetGlue check-ins and their trending shows.

This is just… I think I have a problem.

I watched this yesterday.
I thought it was ok, not mind-blowing or anything. I guess my problem with these movies is that Sherlock Holmes isn’t an action hero, you know? He’s brilliant. Brains over brawn. Guy Ritchie is a damn fine director. He’s got a style that’s so uniquely his, but I think it’s kind of a cop out to make Sherlock Holmes into something comparable to Snatch or Lock Stock instead of translating his style into something more tame.
I don’t know. Maybe I’m just jaded by BBC’s Sherlock or something. Honestly, I’d happily watch both of these movies again. They’re a lot of fun and I love RDJ and Jude Law as a team, A LOT.
ALSO, how friggin brilliant is STEPHEN FRY??
